Residents have annual reimbursable benefits for qualifying purchases per academic year as follows:

Vacation Leave
Residents have 15 vacation days per year
Paid Holidays
Subject to the rotation schedule, residents receive up to 10 paid holidays per year.
Sick Leave
Residents will accrue 3.7 hours of sick leave per pay period (equivalent to 12 days per year).
Retirement Benefits
Residents will be eligible for the Kaiser Permanente Salaried Retirement Plan, which is a defined benefit pension plan that provides you with retirement income based on your compensation and years of credited service.
Residents are also eligible for Kaiser Permanente’s Supplemental Savings and Retirement Plan, a qualified defined contribution retirement savings plan. When you become a participant, Kaiser Permanente will contribute 5% of your salary into your retirement investment account.
Temporary Disability Insurance (TDI)
Residents are eligible for TDI, which provides partial income coverage for periods of qualified off-the-job disability.
Long-Term Disability Insurance
Residents may elect employer-paid long-term disability insurance, which affords partial income coverage for periods of qualified disability.
Family Leave
Family leave benefits are provided in compliance with Federal Family and Medical Leave and State Hawaii Family Leave laws.
Flexible Spending Plan
Residents are eligible to contribute to flexible spending accounts that allow participants to set aside pre-tax dollars to pay for certain expenses related to qualified out-of-pocket medical expenses and dependent care.
Life Insurance
Residents may elect employer-paid basic life insurance coverage of $10,000. Additional coverage may be purchased by residents for themselves and qualified family members.
Relocation Allowance
In the event that a resident must relocate to Hawaii, a $5000 allowance is provided for qualifying relocation costs.
Meal Allowance
Meal voucher tickets provided.
Parking
Provided at no cost to the resident.

Two are provided at no cost to the resident.
