Residents accepted into our program will learn and practice in an integrated care delivery system featuring a team-based work environment and a robust electronic health records platform. You will learn to provide high-quality, coordinated care that is centered around the best interests of our patients and their families, while collaborating with physicians, nurses, and ancillary team members.

During your residency, you will learn in an organization that is the highest rated in commercial, Medicare and Medicaid services. You’ll experience a Patient-Centered Medical Home model that focuses on population management to improve the health of our patients.

You will train and practice primarily on the island of Oahu, and will have the opportunity to participate in rotations at other clinics, offering you the experience of practicing in an urban and rural care setting.

All residents’ education will be mentored and supervised by physicians of the Hawaii Permanente Medical Group, one of the top medical groups in the country, having achieved significant recognition for quality care.

Upon completion of the program, residents will be board-eligible to take the ABIM certification exam.

Residents will receive competitive compensation and generous benefits.
